Spanish Townie Names - This will replace Maxis names (such as Goopy or Ivy Coopur) with names generated from several lists. All these names came from a Spanish census. There are over two hundred names on each list (though most popular names were added twice on a few for a better chance at getting them).

For awhile, I used Hysterical Paroxysm's Modified NPC and Townie Names. It was all good, of course, but when I decided to start a custom neighborhood, I wanted it to be as authentic as I could currently manage. I decided to allow the game to generate townies as more of my sims moved in. However, when these new townies appeared, they had English names. Now, my island is supposed to be Spanish from top to bottom with very few English residents. When I looked, I found out that there weren't any mods which could do the same as HP's mod, but with Spanish names--so I made my own!

In short, this mod will force newly made townies to use names from my lists. Therefore, any new townies spawned will have names that are popular in Spanish countries. There are roughly two hundred names per list, making about six hundred-nine-hundred names in all.

Save the file to your computer and then move it your downloads folder. You're done! Sometime in the future, I'll get to both placing the file in a zip file and moving it to a more permanent location.

This mod will most likely cause problems if you have any other downloads which do the same thing. You shouldn't try this if you already have HP's (or anyone else's) Modified Names download. Also, it's best if you leave the file name as it is. If you want to be organized, try placing it in its own folder instead.
